How Many Sides Does a Triangle Have?
By Catilda leCou
While the arrival of summer heralds warmer temperatures outdoors, it seems the temperatures have been rising indoors as well. Etoille Sereche-Ther'im, of Blades of Tyshalle, was the topic of conversation not too long ago with her engagement to Garthelane Bonnuille also of the Blades. The fiery rogue and paladin seemed a match meant to last.
Until recently. With the recent return of Kranis, the Night Elf rogue, who had been missing for over a year, things seem to have changed. Pictures show Kranis and Etoille were together in Bruuk's recently drinking and playing cards together. "They were laughing and touching each other. It was definitely more than just a game."
Witnesses say by the end of the evening Kranis had imbibed more than his fill and was seen leaving the well-know tavern with Etoille to travel to a small apartment in Ironforge. They were not seen again until the next morning. A friend close to the couple says they were an item before Kranis' disappearance and it seems they are walking the line toward that again. Pictures from that night show the two being very close with each other.
Etoille and Garthelane haven't been seen publicly together in sometime as well. Sources speculate this is due to the return of Kranis' to Etoille's life and her desire to rekindle what once was. Some wonder, though, if Kranis has the same desire to rekindle.
The Night Elf with the shady past was seen recently in Tanaris with two unknown Night Elf women, enjoying a day on the beach. "The way he was hanging on those two said something much more than simple friends," one witness said. The stunning Night Elf women seemed to be returning his flirtations and later in the day they all left together.
Some speculate that this type of behavior is straining Etoille's attempts to recapture Kranis and would explain her heavy drinking. She has been sighted many times in Bruuk's with and without Kranis repeatedly ordering the same Grog and often leaving with a bottle of it tucked under her arm. "It's sad really," a Bruuk's patron said. "You can see when she's there something is really messing with her and the Grog is her defense mechanism."
