At Home With Corspilla

Greetings gentle reader and welcome to the latest issue of The Snoop!
Recently we had an opportunity to tour the home of Corspilla, Forsaken Mage of Hammerfall, and she was kind enough to answer some of our questions. Due to the location of her abode, we called in our Horde Correspondent, Ebonywind of the Golden Plains to translate via gnomish buzzbox.
Thank you for meeting with us today, Corspilla. It truly is a pleasure.
”BAH! Pleasure? You’re thinking of someone else then. If meetin with you will get you to leave me alone…
TS: I'm sure our readers are anxious to know, how did you choose the location for your home?
C: *mutters* Damn tauren won’t let me stay in the inn. He’s got something against mages.
TS: There seems to be quite a bit of action in the area. Can you tell me if that has had any influence on your choice of décor?
C: Décor? What décor? I’m living beneath an inn!
TS: Ebonywind tells me there is a particularly intense fragrance to your home. Tell us about that. Is it perhaps some soothing aromatherapy?
C: I breed maggots, trying to make a maggot that’ll do my cleanin for me. Probably smell the rotten meat. Just cleaned a couple of terrariums before the cow showed up.
TS: I see. You also seem to have a small bowl of some other type of pet. Is that… leeches? They seem to add a certain "something" to the room.
C: Bah! Vikter said I should have leeches. He sent me some from Stranglethorn couple weeks ago. A little cool here for them, but they keep nice in conjured water. My leech water has been a tasty treat in Molten Core. People line up to get it.
TS: You have chosen to keep your floors raw earth. Tell us why you have that preference.
C: Preference? I’m living under an INN! Sides, easier to dig holes in dirt.
TS: Dig holes? How nice! Are you a gardener too?
C: A gardener? How the hell would anything grow here… aside from a bit of mold. No, I cover my experiments when I’m gone to keep pesky people from pawing at them.
TS: With the open air approach to your home, the lack of walls and windows, what sort of "feel" were you going for?
C: I was going for the feel of being out of the rain, of course. Crazy woman
TS: I notice among your throw blankets there you have a woolen one of the most unique color I have ever seen. Could you tell us about that one?
C: *cackles* That’s woven from the wool of a most unusual sheep, a mouthy and, so they say, well-styled, Paladin named Prydion. You might have heard of him. Paladins! Can’t stand them. He was certainly surprised when he got de-sheeped. *cackles* Buck-naked he was!
Well thank you Corspilla for taking this time with us today. For those wishing to achieve Corspilla's look in their own home, we have a few design tips from Ebenether Sprizzlewink, world renowned interior decorator from Ironforge.
"The raw primitive look of the bare dirt floors is becoming more and more popular," according to Ebenether. "To achieve this, simply ship in a couple tons of dirt and spread it across the area you want to have this look."
Two Tons of Dirt, available from Gnomeregan Excavators: 10g per ton.
"While many homes have flowers or oils of some sort to provide a relaxing scent, many people are finding something more "natural" more to their liking," Ebenether observes for us. "A few slices of stringy wolf meat in a box in the corner of the room will give you that "real" odor within two to three days. Perhaps sooner in warmer climates."
Six Slices of Stringy Wolf Meat, available from Elwynn Butchers' Association: 6s per slice.
"Throw blankets can add a touch of color and a feel of home to any room," according to Ebenether. "If you use blankets of vibrant colors they really attract the eye and bring out the other colors in the room. Auburn, blonde, chestnut all add just a bit of a warm color and make the room feel more comfortable."
