Hi, my name is Heather. I'm almost 30, and currently living in the US. I don't have a character active on your server yet, but I think I might make one soon. My favorite races are troll, draenei, and human. My favorite classes are shaman, warlock, hunter, and priest.
Maybe some of you can tell me about the character types that are most common on Feathermoon, so I can avoid doing something that has already been done to death.
Also, it would be helpful if someone could recommend an -active- RP guild. Stuff I'm looking for in a guild...
1) People who actually like to RP.
2) Isn't primarily made up of inactive alts.
3) Chat channel isn't full of caps, swearing, pseudo-ERP, etc.
I look forward to RPing with you all. ^_^

Welcome and I'm glad you found Feathermoon! On our server, to my eye on Alliance side anyway, there seems to be an over abundance of Hunters (especially nelf) and warlocks. There aren't as many shaman as there are on Hordeside and there is a definite shortage of priests. (We do have quite a few Shadow priests, but since leveling my Holy priest I have learned that it is actually a shortage of priests that heal). That being said, I always try to encourage people to play what they enjoy. Don't worry about how much we have of what if that is what you truly want to play and enjoy, then go for it. I can understand wanting to be able to find groups. I have a mage at 70 and she never seems wanted, but if you play your character/class well, you'll find groups etc and have fun. For information on Horde side, you'll have to talk to some of our fine horde folks that hang around on the board. I primarily play Ally side so my information isn't as good as their's is going to be. As for guilds, I always tell people don't rush to get into one. Its like dating and marriage. Play the field for a while. Meet other people and see how you fit with that particular style. If you find some you like, visit their website and read their forums a bit to see what's going on. Do some research because you really wouldn't want to rush into something that you're not happy with. And feel free to jump in on the discussions here. That's another great way to get to know people!
