Hi. My name is Oginalii, and I'm a WoW addict...
I have 20 toons. Yep. 20. I have 20 because I have so many ideas for RP and guilds and stories, et cetera, that I can't fit them into just 10 toons. So...I have more toons. I can't help it. I'm an innocent bystander as my imagination goes wild! Oh well. Now all I need...is more...time.
So here is a quick rundown, and a little of the down-low on my 20 brain nuggets. My highest is level 40 (just got my mount, yay!); my lowest is a baby level 1. *sucks thumb* You might see them around somewhere (with 20 toons, that's very likely)--feel free to RP with them!
Without further ado:
ANAANSI (troll, rogue-Subtlety,main toon) > Anaansi, a Darkspear, was born before the migration to Durotar. She's a rogue with a sense of humor, a love of sparkly things (what rogue doesn't?), and a taste for spicy food (Dragonbreath Chili!). Commanding officer of The Smiling Bandit, a privateering vessel, Anaansi sails under a letter of marque from each of the five races of the Horde and a "commission, with permission" from the Steamwheedle Cartel. She likes girls, and habitually flirts with elves--especially night elves. A busy troll woman, she works as a recruiter and acquisitions chief for The Old Honor Corps, while transporting supplies for Steamwheedle aboard her ship. She is as dangerous as she is gregarious, but feels no compulsion to kill everything as most trolls do. She doesn't seem to notice faults in others, perhaps because she's a rogue, or because those faults genuinely don't matter to her. She has a fondness for a priestess named Mirrah, and a warlock named Mortanus, and she relishes the occasional picnic with a troll named Tatimitzi. She loves to travel and explore (treasure is possible in both cases), and won't hesitate to jump continents to see a far-flung locale. She has been toying with the idea of writing a travel guide for everyplace she has seen, but struggles with acquiring the patience to sit down and work on it.
AHRIMMAN (blood elf, death knight-Unholy) > Born to House Bloodmire (a family of warlocks) in Windrunner Village, in what is now the Ghostlands. Schooled in the dark arts from a young age, Ahrimman excelled and discovered a taste for power. He has conquered his addiction to magic, so to speak, but in its place is a lust for power. Everything he does is focused on bringing him more. Sometimes this bends him towards evil, but he will also work for a good cause--if it serves his purposes. He is Heir-Apparent of House Bloodmire, a house that is currently homeless (their lands around Windrunner Village were lost after Arthas' attack). He and his mother, Malikel, are the only survivors. His father, Ru'am, was in Silvermoon during the attack, and perished with everyone else. Ahrimman was in Silverpine teaching a human named Thule, when Quel'Thalas was attacked.
ITHALASSA (blood elf, mage-Arcane) > Ithalassa was born to Arcanus and Ysillare Dusklight. Her mother died shortly after her birth from an illness that some believed to be magic-related. Arcanus was a peddlar with a natural talent in arcane magic, and , with the help of a network of friends, succeeded in starting a school for aspiring wizards--Dusklight School of Wonders (he was a bit eccentric). Lassa, being too much a free spirit, didn't wish to take over as headmaster when Arcanus passed away, so she closed it down--but not before she made an endowment for the magic arts, called the Order of Arcanus. This way she would be free to travel, but aspiring wizards would still have a chance at magical education. She free-lances as a travel and culture writer for a goblin journal and gossip rag, The Gabby Gazette, in a column called The Lassa Word (her editor, Crozzletonk, has a very strong affinity for puns).
ZINJH (troll, hunter-Beast Master) > Zinjh is an exiled Amani troll. Very quiet, he doesn't say much--which makes him seem aloof, but he has a kind heart (a rarity with any troll, but especially with Amanis). When the Darkspears migrated to Durotar, he came with them. He has a way with animals, and one day, while out in the Echo Isles, he came upon a tiger cub who's mother and siblings had been killed by one of Zalazane's ilk. Touched by her situation (his family had been killed by Shadowpine trolls), he picked her up and took her home. He nursed her back to health, and named her Ulaakha, Amani for "anger". (They later avenged her family together.) Zinjh lives for two things: the hunt, and revenge against not only the Shadowpines, but his own people who exiled him. Zinjh is occasionally employed as a bounty hunter--trekking the world to hunt his most dangerous quarry, criminals on the run.
VAERHA (blood elf, paladin-Holy) > Vaerha is the image of a homemaker: she cooks (she's looking for a recipe for delicious chocolate cake), sews (tailor), makes jewelry (jewelcrafter), and loves to go to social events. The only problem is...she's single. She has no lover, husband, or otherwise. When she was young, she attended temple with her family, and dreamed of being a champion for the Light. Today she is, and she can swing a sword as easily as she can swing a spatula or ladle. She's a dangerous foe to Legion and Scourge alike. She excels in healing, and her beauty and charm has been a boon to many a knight in the fight for survival her people have been forced into. She is a devout follower of the Light, and works for the cause of righteousness and piety among her people--and everywhere she sees a need for good. She loves children--her favorite occasion is Children's Week. She's very optimistic, and dreams of a new Quel'Thalas, reborn of the ashes of its former self, and championing a cause for good in the world. She's also very romantic, and dreams of a house in the country filled with children--her own and many adopted orphans. She works for a non-profit organization, called Phoenix Rising, that seeks to give orphans and destitute families a second chance in a war-torn world.
OGINALII (tauren, shaman-Restoration) > Ogi, as he is known by his friends, is, quite possibly, the most gentle person in existence. Very patient, very kind and caring, he tends to the wounds, both physical and spiritual, of all those who come to him hurting. He is the medicine man who gives fatherly advice, and a caring shoulder for those who need it. His favorite place to be, other than out in the wild picking herbs, is in his garden in the mountains between Mulgore and the Barrens. He has a tent there, and a cave nearby where he consults the spirits. He can often be seen in Thunder Bluff, selling herbs and medicines and visiting the fruit stand, in overalls and a wide brimmed hat. Oginalii believes that the truest example of a warrior is the last one to pick up the lance, and therefore will not join the fray in the various battlegrounds that the Horde fights on. This does not mean he won't fight--he is just as dangerous as any other shaman, when it comes to fighting for the land, and he will fight tooth-and-hoof to protect his companions. His field of expertise is healing , however, and this is where he fights the hardest. He works closely with medical groups in different cities, aiding them when necessary, and acquiring herbs for the quartermasters. Occasionally, he will also join in task forces to clear and clean up dungeons and other places fouled up by evil.
VERESHUKA (orc, warrior-Protection) > Vereshuka Haragtol Redearth, daughter of Beleseret and the late Torkosh Haragtol, is both a fierce warrior, and capable hunter. Raised by her grandfather, Batorshag, and taught to fight and hunt by her brothers, Kemeng and Thullank. When her grandfather passed away, she inherited the reins of leadership of the group he founded called The Honor Corps. This was originally a rebellion against the Legion, and against the blood-taint his people carried. After the fall of Mannaroth, and the freeing of the orcish people by Thrall, The Honor Corps became a militia to serve the interests of the Horde in places that the Horde's army could not go. Today Vereshuka leads a newly renamed militia, The Old Honor Corps, in this same function, but also to bring honor to all who deserve it and care about it, vanquishing evil--demons and Scourge, alike, and helping to ensure the continued existence and prosperity of the Horde--in Kalimdor, and the lands abroad. Besides being a warlord for the Horde, she is an accomplished blacksmith, who wants to study the art of armorcrafting in the near future.
THRAKIS (blood elf, paladin-Retribution) > Thrak, unlike Vaerha, is not motivated by righteousness, so much as by a strong sense of justice. Sometimes slipping into "self-righteous mode", he can occasionally be a little judgemental (which is appropriate for a Ret pally!). Genuinely a nice guy, he likes kids, because he grew up in the orphanage of Shattrath. He grew to develop a fondness for orcs and their ways of honor--those that practiced it, mostly because all he saw from his own people was politics as usual. He gained a deep respect for the draenei, and was hurt to learn about what happened to them, though this didn't change his mind about orcs. Findong out what happened to the orcs to turn them into such savage butchers, prompted him towards two things: a life of honor, like the orcs of old--before the taint, and knighthood, so that he could fight for justice, and be properly equipped to slay demons--as many as possible. To his chagrin, he could not be accepted into the academies for the young draenei knighthood hopefuls, so he applied to an academy among his own people. He was met with open disgust and prejudice. He didn't have the proper pedigree or bloodline or something-or-other, so he couldn't get in. That is until someone championed him. Lady Itherian Dawnbearer apparently saw something in him, because she fought hard to get him in--and she won out. She was his tutor, mentor, trainer, and shoulder (when the days got hard). Like Oonau, the orphanage matron, she was like a mother to him. She encouraged his orcish life of honor, and also a life dedicated to justice. It was in the orphanage that he met and developed some feelings for a young huntress named Arianiris. When she left suddenly, he soon followed--encouraged by both oonau and Lady Itherian. He wandered the world of Azeroth looking for Ari, and finally found her in a mercenary guild called Edge of Honor. While a bit uncomfortable on the "edge of honor", he has made some friends, and has renewed his friendship with Ari. He hopes that, one day, that relationship may go to something deeper.
UZUMATII (tauren, druid-Feral) > Uzu grew up in the Needles, about where Whitereach Post is now. Centaurs destroyed her village, which is why she harbors a stronger hatred of them than even many of her people carry. Unlike Tes, she didn't come from a line of druids, but she showed a natural affinity for animals and the natural world when she was young. She would run around pretending to be a bird, flapping her arms, or stomping around, like one of the Barrens zhevras. When her village was destroyed, she and her family, along with the other refugees, migrated to Feralas, and took up residence in Camp Mojache. It was there that her affinities with nature were noticed by a local druid, and her family allowed her to study. After some basic lessons, she had an opportunity to go to Mulgore, to Thunder Bluff, to train under Hamuul and the druids there. Uzu is young and idealistic, angry and disgruntled, and naturally powerful in nature magic--a dangerous combination. She hates the Venture Company with a fervent passion, and anything and anyone else that displays similar values. She has as little as possible to do with any goblin, which she sees as a destructive people, and she isn't too happy with the rest of the Horde either, as they seem bent on destroying forests and tearing everything up. Fiercely independent, she travels alone, though she does get along with other druids, most shamans, and the occasional hunter. She refuses to own or ride a mount, believing that, unlike having a pet, it is an unnatural arrangement, and she'll have nothing to do with it. However, this is just as well, because she relishes--truly enjoys--when she is in animal form, and tries to stay in one of her forms at all times. Her dream is to fly like the birds, and she's excited to have learned that such a form is possible when she advances high enough. The one group she finds "okay" is Cenarion--without whom she would have no druidic training. She also cares for her people, even if they occasionally get misled or sidetracked, because they follow the old ways of respect for the land.
MALIKEL (blood elf, warlock-Demonology) > Lady Malikel Bloodmire, or Mali--as only the foolish call her, is Ahrimman's mother. She escaped the destruction of Arthas' attack, unlike her husband Ru'am. Thule, a student of her son, was secretly aligned with the Scourge, and Ahrimman found out. Obtsining information about the attack, he sent word to his mother. She left just in time, though for a long time he was unaware of her whereabouts or well-being. He had no real love for his father, who was constantly at the royal court, playing politics. She, however, was there, and while she could be rather harsh, he had more "love" for her. She was his tutor in the dark arts of the warlock, and she taught him the hard lessons. They have been recently reunited, and together they work to gain power--as much as possible. She is no "behind-the-scenes" schemer--she's not someone to mess with (all who have are now dead or insane, or worse), but quite a bit of her effort is spent in raising her son to a position of prominence and power. They don't always agree, but generally share the same goals.
((That's the first half of them--I'll put in the others at a later time. You're more than welcome to RP with any of them in-game, and I want to write some stories with them and post them in closed RP, maybe open RP, and on my guild site, www.myspace.com/theoldhonorcorps More later, folks.))
