As some of you already know, there is a new RP "situation" on Feathermoon. If you're unfamiliar with it, allow me to illuminate you.
Two years ago, Matsu'jin's wife, Lukuwa, was killed during an in-game battle at Aerie Peak. Mats blamed the Alliance for her death, and joined the Horde military (where he would eventually raise to the rank of Warlord) in order to exact his revenge upon them. But he never found the satisfaction he was looking for. And he has now decided that he needs to find the specific person who killed her, so that he can return the favour.
Basically, Matsu'jin needed to do a bone-reading, which requires certain bones. Specifically, he needed the bones of the people who saw Lukuwa die. So he sent Horde players on in-game quests to Aerie Peak to kill guards and take their bones. Once he had enough of them, he did the reading, and saw a vision of the attack.
The image is hazy, but he believes the killer is Tarquin.
If you're interested in helping Matsu'jin discover who really killed his wife, or you want to help him find his vengeance, or you want to strike at the Alliance and do some damage ... post on "Whirl is King". You can find it on the Feathermoon forums.
Now, alternatively, Fells has put up a thread called "Red as the Sunset", in which her family is attacked by Matsu'jin's agents in Aerie Peak. A bounty is placed upon the head of Lakota Matsu'jin and the trolls of the Hinterlands.
Loche is involved, and is actually playing both sides. Mats has him on a job in Hillsbrad, sabotaging steam tanks so they can't roll against the trolls. And he's only recently OBLITERATED a witherbark village for Fells.
Bricu Bittertongue is trying to put a stop to the violence, and has arranged a meeting with Matsu'jin in Booty Bay to discuss some kind of peace.
If you're interested in collecting bounties on trolls, or hunting Matsu'jin, or just striking a blow on the Horde in general ... post on "Red as the Sunset". Again, you can find it on the official Feathermoon forums.
This is going to be a huge event for all the characters currently involved, because we have a lot of history together. And it very well could end up bloody as hell. I'd really like to get more people involved, though. Each time someone new steps in, the story gets that much more interesting.
So write, damn it. Write.
love,
nathan.
