This is an easy one, but since I brought up the idea of putting this sticky here, I'll post my primary RP tool: My Roleplay. Developer forums can be found at forums.moonshyne.org/index.php. I'm shooting off of the cuff, so if I'm wrong here, please let me know. I'll correct the information as needed. As of this update (2007-10-09), the mod is officially "out of date", but I have no issues (that I notice) with it currently. My Roleplay works similar to FlagRSP (which it is partially built off of) and ImmersionRP (and is compatible with both), using hidden chat channels to move data that the user has entered into their profile for display to other users of the said mods. I should note here in large, bold, underlined text that running FlagRSP and My Roleplay simultaneously will cause very bad problems. Don't do it[/u][/size]. [/s] Update 2008-05-12: People have made statements that most of these problems have been resolved. As a side note, since the mod uses chat channels to move the information, Brewfest has made looking at character profiles a bit more colorful of an experience, as it treats the text that the mod displays to you as the character talking to you. The mod puts a new icon near your target's portrait if they are running any of the RP mods listed above. Clicking this button gives you a new window with 3 separate sections (selectable by scroll buttons): a "general" tab (which lists the Character's name and any surname or such that the player might have entered, guild, and their rank in the guild, among other information), an "appearance" tab, (any physical attributes that the player might have filled out, and a section for a freeform description), and a "history" tab (which contains another freeform section for players to fill out if they choose to). For client side control, this mod puts a toggle button at the top of your character sheet, which gives you access to the sections listed above that you can edit. I'll put some links to screenshots when I get them.

I'd second that. MyRolePlay is (as far as I can tell) the ONLY RP description mod that's still being developed. FlagRSP2 and ImmersionRP are both many months out of date, and are starting to have glitches pop up.

This thread is about exactly what the title says. List your favorite RP Mods! Since so many of us will be using RSP or ImmersionRP, I will provide links to both of those here for folks that would like to give them a try. Add others that you think make the RP experience more enjoyable! ImmersionRP - Allows you to add descriptions, titles, notes, etc to your character for others to view. FlagRSP2 - Allows you to add descriptions, titles, notes, etc to your character for others to view. (Reposted from Feathernet)

I just wanted to point out that -
FlagRSP2 is still being developed - you can get updates via Ace.

FlagRSP2 is definitely still being developed, and the author actually plays on Feathermoon.
As a side note - Tuesday of this week Blizzard implemented an anti-spam feature on public channels which is greatly interfering with RSP descriptions being sent. Most of them are being cut off after ~250 characters.
If you see truncated descritpions, this is why.

I personally use ImmersionRP, but here's two other addons besides the big three:
Lore (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/620/) gives you a bunch of other languages you can use, like Nerubian, Dark Iron, or Demonic. Although you can't understand NPCs that talk with those languages, you can still use them to talk to other players. I see a bunch of warlocks with this, for the demonic language.
Eloquence (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/1990/) lets you change how you hear and say things in game. It can do things like change shorthand typing into real words (OMG becomes Oh my god, Plz becomes Please, and so forth). It also has a fantasy setting, to help give your character a dialect that's closer to your race. This can really help if you're playing a troll or dwarf, races that have heavier accents when they speak.

I've finally gotten the Lore dialectizer to work for Xaraand (Draenei. I found someone had written a "Romainian" style dialect for Lore), and it's been entertaining. I think there are dialects for all of the races available for Lore, as well as some fun languages like Druidic, Demonic, Dark Iron and the like.

Elephant is a nice chat logger. It allows you to log all chats, and increases the scrollback buffer in the game to 250 lines. It also logs all chats in separate categories, so you can look for that one whisper or guild statement that you need to remember that character's name. www.curse.com/downloads/details/3198/Less an RP mod, more just "useful", Cartographer. It modifies the map interface to be more useable, and adds dungeon maps as well. www.curse.com/downloads/details/4947/Spam Sentry, also not an RP mod, but a useful one nonetheless. Was at one point the primary way to weed out gold spam, and still does a good job of it. www.curse.com/downloads/details/4150/

Outfitter, Ive found, can be a god send when you have lots of RP outfits or just diffrent sets of gear. It allows you to set Outfits and switch at the click of the mouse. Ive found that if you jump in the water with a Swimming outfit set it switches it for you so watch for those if your doing something important. Other than that I love this add on ^^ www.curse.com/downloads/details/4784/
